The Des Moines Waldorf Association was created with the purpose of gathering like-minded individuals together for purposes of community gatherings, craft sessions, education & more. So far we have the following officers:

Susan Liesland - Education Coordinator
Rob Liesland - Webmaster
Our first official meeting will take place December 5th, after the Lantern Walk (see events on our Facebook Fan Page for more information). If you would like to become part of this organization please contact Kristie Burns or Susan Liesland. Possible ways you can become involved are:
* Become a member of this BLOG, our Fan Page on Facebook and our Yahoogroups mailing list. You will then be altered of events and be able to attend or participate in any way you want.
* Become part of the associations co-op. Do you have a skill you would like to share or do you have some aspect of this group you would like to help come alive? Some positions we would like to fill would be - newsletter editor, local farm coordinator (to help coordinate trips and visits to local farms and cooperative memberships in local food co-ops and/or trips to the farmer's markets), craft coordinator (someone to coordinate a monthly Waldorf crafting group), Librarian (someone to keep track of what Waldorf books members own that can be lent out), treasurer, fund-raising coordinator, and more (depending on what YOU want to see us become).
We are planting the seeds and we hope you join, help us nurture and water them and watch it grow into something wonderful!
